We are a team of executive coaches, clinical and organizational psychologists, computer programmers and AI experts.
What brings us together is a passion for leadership.
I am a tech entrepreneur with proven experience leading senior teams both in the private sector and as former Lieutenant in an elite tech unit of the Israel Defense Forces. In my military career, I served as Head of Faculty at the 8200 Intelligence Officers’ School where I trained the next generation of Intelligence officers.
Following my military service, and for the past two decades, I have worked with Israel’s most successful serial entrepreneurs and investors. I served in several startups and leading tech companies as General Counsel and held other executive roles related to finance and human resources. Moreover, I have been leading companies of my own, always focusing on the human factor.
Fascinated by the Israeli tech landscape, I founded a series of programs for top innovators and entrepreneurs, including Israel’s first startup accelerator. As a result of my significant role in the flourishing Israeli tech sector, I was featured as one of the 100 Most Influential people in Israeli Tech and as one of the 100-tech-business-women-speakers in the world.
I have Bachelor’s degrees in Economics (B.Sc.) and in Law (LL.B). I also hold an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Strategy, all from Tel Aviv University.
My first book, Chutzpah: Why Israel Is a Hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is available online (Harper Business, 2019).
If I had to choose a common thread in my career, it would be my genuine interest in people.
I have been a coach and an organizational development expert for over two decades.
I started off as an Airforce operations officer in the Israel Defense Forces, working to understand how to drive top performance through an intentional, intense culture of professional development. Using this knowledge, I moved on to becoming a business executive, marrying my knowledge of people and performance with strategy. I realized that the best companies are congruent in how they approach vision, strategy, culture, people, etc. This realization made me choose a path to help other companies maximize their ability to succeed by investing in their people.
Out of this deep experience, I recognized a need for a coaching method that overcomes barriers to change to deliver real business outcomes. After training in systems thinking, design thinking and agile software development, I discovered that applying agile principles to people development is highly effective. The result is Agile Action Planning, a method I developed that allows executives and employees alike to quickly reach their professional goals. Agile Action Planning is at the core of Synthesis’ leadership development products and coaching services.
In addition, I have worked as an executive coach at Harvard Business School Executive Education for the last decade. Using my vast knowledge in how to apply psychological methods to business settings and my extensive coaching experience, I teach executive coaches and write coaching curricula used by educational institutions based on Agile Action Planning.
I hold a Law and Economics Bachelor’s degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
In short, I love helping people.
